Greg Haskin Strongly Supports the Los Alamitos City Council For Vote to Support Federal Immigration Authorities

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Today, Republican small-business owner and candidate for the 72nd Assembly District, Greg Haskin, announced his support for the Los Alamitos City Council after last night’s vote for an ordinance to coordinate with federal authorities. The vote is a clear rejection to California Governor Jerry Brown’s Sanctuary State Law. The ordinance is the first of its kind in California and passed with a 4-1 vote.

“Congratulations to the Los Alamitos City Council for their leadership,” said Haskin.  “The safety of the law abiding public should always be the highest priority for our elected officials. I hope that this is the start of a trend that shows our Sacramento politicians how out of touch they really are. When I’m elected and representing Los Alamitos in the State Assembly they will have my support as their representative.”

Los Alamitos is nested in the 72nd Assembly District. The district is currently represented by Assemblyman Travis Allen who is vacating the seat to run for California Governor.
